You'll Be Fine, I Promise was my graduate student thesis film while attending the Academy of Art University. While never finished, it is a monstrous amount of fun to work on and I do manage to nudge progress along between contracts. I'm including some videos and images of the production process in my portfolio mostly for posterity, but also to showcase some of my creative process.
Here is what's finished so far:
One of the most challenging tasks for my short was rigging the mudlings. Bouncy, squishy characters are always a little challenging when it comes to 3D animation. The above video was an early rig test.
